Northeast Recreational Field Complex

Located at 1001 John Kirk Drive, the Northeast Recreational Field Complex (NRFC) is a $7 million, 21-acre synthetic turf recreation destination for UNC Charlotte students.

While home to Recreational Services' Intramural Sports and Sport Clubs programs, the field complex is also available at times for free play by students, faculty, and staff.

Faculty, Staff, Organizations, and Non-Affiliated Groups should contact Conferences, Reservations, and Event Services at 704.687.7120 to request a reservation.

Facility Highlights

  • Mondo synthetic turf playing fields, lined for flag football and softball
  • Parking for Recreational Services program participants and event reservations - no permit required

Fields not being used by Intramural Sports, Sport Clubs, or event reservations are available for first-come first-serve open recreation by UNC Charlotte students, faculty, and staff during the following hours:
